Brunson, Dallimore and Liddington homer

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State rallied from an early deficit and held on for the 11-10 win over TCU Sunday afternoon at O'Brate Stadium. The Cowboys outscored the Horned Frogs 10-3 over the final six innings.

The Rundown
After falling behind 1-0 in the first, the Horned Frogs exploded for seven runs in the second inning. Rob Liddington gave TCU a 2-1 lead with a home run. Brady Dallimore followed with a home run to make it 3-1.

With two on, Cole Cramer lined a RBI-single through the left side. Sawyer Strosnider hit a sacrifice fly and Chase Brunson capped the inning with a two-run home run. Jack Arthur made it an 8-1 ballgame with a two-out home run to center in the third inning.

TCU answered Oklahoma State's two runs in the bottom of the third with a run in the fourth. Four walks in the frame gifted the Frogs a run and TCU lead 9-3.

The Cowboys cut the deficit in half with three two-out runs in the fourth. The comeback was complete in the sixth as Oklahoma State scored four times on three straight home runs to take a 10-9 lead.

TCU threatened in the eighth with the tying run on third base with nobody out, but couldn't push across the run. Oklahoma State took advantage of its opportunity in the bottom of the inning to add an insurance run.

The Frogs didn't go quietly in the ninth. An error to lead off the inning opened the door. Liddington doubled home a run with two outs to pull the Frogs within one, 11-10, but the game-tying run would be stranded at third.

Zack James started and allowed six runs on six hits in 3 2/3 innings. Nate Stern (2-2) took the loss after giving up the go-ahead home run in the sixth.
