OKLAHOMA CITY –Inclement weather rolled into Oklahoma City and Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark just as the seventh inning came to a close. TCU was leading Baylor 5-2 in an elimination game at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Tournament. The game will resume at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.
TCU scored three times in the third and once in the fourth and seventh innings. Brandon Williamson had allowed just two runs on seven hits in seven innings of work. He recorded nine strikeouts. Josh Watson was 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs in the contest. Baylor had picked up solo runs in the third and seventh innings.
Should TCU hold on to win the game, it will play Oklahoma State later in the afternoon.
