A three-year letterwinner at Vista Murrieta High School in Temecula, Calif.… ranked 162nd overall and 48th among pitchers in California by Perfect Game... earned first-team All-Southwestern League honors as a senior… went 5-2 with a 1.70 ERA over 36.2 innings pitched as a senior… hit .279 with two doubles, a triple and five RBI as a junior... named second-team All-Southwestern League selection as a sophomore... went 6-1 with a 1.17 ERA and four saves in 2017... struck out 50 over 53.2 innings pitched in 16 appearances... did not allow an earned run in first six appearances of the season, striking out 20 in 17.2 innings over that stretch... a Preseason Underclass All-American High Honorable Mention selection by Perfect Game in 2018.
