Brunson hits first home run of the season
LOS ANGELES – No. 1 UCLA scored multiple runs in three inning en route to handing No. 7 TCU a 10-2 series-opening loss. Chase Brunson hit his first home run of the season in the contest.
The Rundown
UCLA jumped out to a big lead in the second, sending 10 men to the plate and scoring five times. The big blow was a one-out grand slam off the bat of Roch Chowlowsky. The Bruins tacked on a pair of runs with a two-out base hit in the third to extend the lead to 7-0.
Chase Brunson's first home run of the season got the Horned Frogs on the board to lead off the fourth inning.
