2008 (Junior):
· Was a first-team all-conference honoree.
· Named second-team All-American by Baseball America and third-team All-American by Louisville Slugger.
· Became the second baseball player in school history to be drafted in the first round of the MLB Draft when he was selected 19th overall by the Chicago Cubs.
· Earned a spot on the MWC All-Tournament squad.
· Finished his lone campaign at TCU with a 2.32 ERA.
· Led the squad with nine wins, finishing the campaign with a 9-4 record to go along with a league-leading nine saves.
· Ranked first on the team with 80 strikeouts.
· Limited batters to a .122 batting average, surrendering just 21 hits in 54 1/3 innings pitched.
· In league play, he posted a 3-1 record in 11 appearances with an even 1.00 ERA.
· Tallied five saves, allowing just two earned runs in 18 innings of work.
