FORT WORTH – No. 8 TCU picked up its 12^th consecutive win behind a balanced attack, sweeping Arizona 3-0 on Friday night in Schollmaier Arena.

The Horned Frogs (14-2, 5-0 Big 12) remained perfect in conference play and recorded their sixth victory in straight sets this season. TCU controlled the match from start to finish, hitting .320 as a team while holding the Wildcats to a .154 clip.

Becca Kelley led the offense with 12 kills on a .346 hitting percentage and added four blocks. Jalyn Gibson was right behind her with 11 kills on just 17 swings, hitting a blistering .529 to go along with eight digs. Evan Hendrix added nine kills and nine digs.

Freshman Kinsley Young continued to make her presence felt at the net, leading the Frogs with five blocks while adding five kills on a .400 clip. Rosemary Archer dished out 25 assists, and Alice Volpe anchored the back row with 11 digs.

TCU came out firing in the opening set, winning each of the first four points. The Frogs continued to create separation behind their block, with Young teaming up for back-to-back rejections to push the lead to 9-4. Hendrix put away back-to-back kills to make it 21-15, and Lauren Murphy provided a spark off the bench with a pair of kills herself before Kelley closed out the opener with an ace, 25-17.

The Frogs, who have struggled in second sets this season, fell behind early but battled back to tie things up at 12-12. From there, both teams traded points looking for separation. Knotted up at 23, Kelley induced set point with her 10^th kill of the night before Gibson finished off the set at 25-23.

Going for the sweep, TCU wasted little time in the third. The Frogs took a 4-1 lead and never looked back, stretching their advantage to 10-5 behind another massive block by Young and Reese Robins. Arizona fought to stay in the match, tying the score back up at 17-all, but Hendrix and Kelley quickly shut down and further comeback attempt. Gibson hammered home the final kill, going high off the defender's hands, to seal the 25-20 set victory.

No. 8 TCU hits the road for a top-12 matchup with No. 11 Arizona State in Tempe on Sunday, Oct. 11. Fans can tune in to ESPN2 and catch the nationally televised broadcast at 4 p.m. CT.
