CINCINNATI – No. 11 TCU volleyball took care of business on the road on Friday night, sweeping Cincinnati to open Big 12 play inside Fifth Third Arena.

The Horned Frogs (10-2, 1-0 Big 12) extended their winning streak to eight matches, tied for the fifth-longest winning streak in program history and the most consecutive wins since 2013.

It was a balanced attack for the Frogs, paced by Becca Kelley and Evan Hendrix. The duo led the way with 13 and 12 kills, respectively, while adding 12 digs each for a double-double. Setter Rosemary Archer had a big night running the offense. The fifth-year senior picked up her 2,000^th career assist in the third set, setting Hendrix for the milestone.

TCU's block was dominant. De'Andrea McMillian was a force at the net, tying her career-high with seven blocks to help hold the Bearcats to a .118 hitting percentage on the night. Jalyn Gibson also contributed six blocks and was a weapon at the service line, recording four aces to tie her career-high.

Tied early in the first set, Kelley sparked a 3-0 run at the service line to give the Frogs separation. TCU continued to score in waves with four straight points to take a 15-10 lead into the media timeout. Kelley supplied three kills down the stretch before Gibson stepped to the service line with TCU leading 22-16. The fifth-year senior delivered an ace before back-to-back Cincinnati errors closed out the opening set, 25-16.

Archer got the Frogs rolling with a 5-0 run that featured a pair of aces and two stuff blocks to start the second set. TCU's defense put up a wall and eventually stretched the advantage to 11-6 as Cincinnati struggled to find answers offensively. Gibson provided another late push at the service line, tallying back-to-back aces to put TCU in command at 22-15. The Frogs finished off the second, holding the Bearcats to a .000 hitting percentage, and grabbed a two-set lead with a 25-19 win.

The Frogs came out firing in the third as they eyed the sweep. Young helped TCU jump out to a 5-1 lead before Archer added her third ace of the match to make it 7-2. Cincinnati battled back and cut the deficit to two on multiple occasions, but the Frogs never relinquished control. Hendrix came alive down the stretch, putting away five kills over the final 12 TCU points and propelling the Frogs to the sweep.

TCU continues its opening weekend of conference play on Sunday against West Virginia in Morgantown at 12 p.m. CT.
