SCOUTING REPORT
Arizona enters Friday's match 6-8 overall and 1-2 in Big 12 play after picking up its first conference win with a sweep of Texas Tech on Sunday. The Wildcats returned eight letterwinners from that squad, highlighted by Preseason All-Big 12 outside hitter Carlie Cisneros, who earned Second Team All-Big 12 honors in 2025. Transfer outside hitter Destiny Ndam-Simpson has emerged as Arizona's leading attacker with 145 kills, while Cisneros follows with 121 and a team-high 19 service aces. The Wildcats have also been particularly effective at the net, averaging 2.31 blocks per set.

No. 11 Arizona State enters the weekend 11-3 overall and 2-1 in Big 12 play after handing Iowa State its first conference loss in four sets on Sunday. The Sun Devils were picked to win the Big 12 after capturing back-to-back conference titles and finishing 28-4 with a trip to the Sweet 16 last season. Reigning Big 12 Player of the Year and First Team All-American Noemie Glover headlines a loaded group of pins alongside Preseason All-Big 12 selections Aniya Clinton and Una Vajagić. Sun Devils are hitting .255 as a team, but their defense has been even more impressive. ASU ranks second in the Big 12 in opponent hitting percentage at .170 and averages 2.48 blocks per set.
