Summer Ball In Full Swing For Baseball

A key part of a players' development, TCU has sent players to six different summer leagues. Three players headed to the Coastal Plains League, while two each are playing in the Alaska Summer League, the Cape Cod League, the Valley Baseball League and the Northwoods League and one is participating in the Texas Collegiate League.
Two pitchers who redshirted this past season, Jared Janczak and Connor Reich, are teammates on the CPL's Wilson Tobbs squad, while outfielder Austen Wade is playing for the Petersburg Generals.
Heading to the famous Alaska Summer Baseball League and playing for the Matsu Miners are Connor Wanhanen and Zack Plunkett.
Connor Beck and Evan Skoug are TCU's representatives in the Cape Cod League. Beck is playing in the outfield for the Wareham Gateman, while Skoug is catching for the Falmouth Commodores.
Michael Landestoy and Cullen Vaught are teammates for the Winchester Royals of the Valley Baseball League, while Elliott Barzilli and Preston Guillory are members of the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods League.
Rounding out TCU's summer ball participants is Evan Williams playing in the Texas Collegiate League for the Acadiana Cane Cutters.
