Purple Takes Series Lead With 7-3 Win

Dalton Horton earned the win as he tossed five scoreless innings of one-hit baseball. He tallied six strikeouts before giving way to the bullpen. Devon Roedahl tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings, while Preston Guillory struck out all four batters he faced in 1 1/3 innings.
Ryan Merrill lead off the game with a home run. Luken Baker and Evan Skoug keyed the offense with a combined five hits. Baker tallied an RBI as part of three hits in the game.
For the White squad, Connor Wanhanen produced a two hit game. On the mound, Dillon Meadows allowed just one unearned run in three innings of work. Durbin Feltman tossed two scoreless innings, while Brian Trieglaff turned in a scoreless inning of his own.
Purple will have a chance to clinch the series Friday afternoon in game four which is slated to begin at 5 p.m. White will send Mitchell Traver to the mound, while Purple will counter with Rex Hill.
