White Takes World Series Game One, 9-2

Trieglaff picked up the victory out of the bullpen with four scoreless innings of work. He allowed just two hits. Nolan Brown led the charge for White as he went 2-for-3 with a double and home run to go along with three runs scored. Evan Williams doubled twice and drove in a trio of runs. Josh Watson turned in a three hit game with a double, while Connor Wanhanen pitched in with two hits. Elliott Barzilli finished the afternoon with two hits. Zack Plunkett also homered for White.
For the Purple team, Evan Skoug doubled as part of a two-hit game and drove in both runs.
The series continues with game two on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. A pair of newcomers will toe the rubber as White will send Mitch Sewald to the mound, while Purple will counter with Luken Baker.
