
Baseball Opens Fall Practice Wednesday

FORT WORTH - The TCU baseball team will begin preparations for the 2014 season Wednesday afternoon when they open their fall practice schedule. The team will participate in 28 practice sessions over the next 45 days.
Highlighting the fall schedule will be the team's annual Scout Day, which is slated for Friday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. A fall contest against Division I newcomer Abilene Christian is set for Oct. 13 at 1 p.m. Fall practice will conclude at the end of October with the annual Purple vs. White World Series. Dates and times for the series will be released at a later date.
Along the way, the Horned Frogs will play in numerous intrasquad games that will be free and open to the public. All regular practice sessions will be closed to the general public but open to professional scouts.
All practices are set to begin at 2:30 p.m. during the week while weekend practices are TBA and will be announced as they are scheduled via twitter (@TCU_Baseball).
