Baseball Hosts Fall Scrimmage Sunday

FORT WORTH - Fans can get an early glimpse of the 2014 TCU baseball team Sunday afternoon. The Horned Frogs will host Division I newcomer Abilene Christian at 1 p.m. Starting for TCU will be newcomer Tyler Alexander.
Alexander, a left-hander pitcher from Southlake Carroll, was a 23rd pick of the Detroit Tigers. TCU's 2013 recruiting class was ranked in the top 30 by Collegiate Baseball. The Frogs are in the midst of a 45-day fall practice schedule. Admission to the fall contest at Lupton Stadium is free.
