
Baseball Ranked No. 10 In Preseason Poll

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU baseball team was ranked No. 10 in the Collegiate Baseball preseason poll that was released Monday. The Horned Frogs are ranked in the preseason for the third straight season.
The Frogs return 13 letterwinners from the 2011 squad that posted a 43-19 record and made its eighth straight appearance in the postseason. Additionally, the 16 newcomers that made their way to campus were ranked as the nation's 10th-best recruiting class.
The 2012 season gets underway on Feb. 17 when the Frogs host Ole Miss. The Rebels are receiving votes in the Collegiate Baseball poll. Other teams on the Frogs' schedule that are ranked are: No. 6 Texas A&M, No. 16 Oklahoma, No. 21 Cal State Fullerton, No. 28 Baylor and No. 35 Texas State. School's receiving votes that appear on the 2012 slate are Oklahoma State, Dallas Baptist, Texas Tech, New Mexico, San Diego State and UNLV.
