Furrow named to Texas Collegiate League All-League Team

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU pitcher Donald Furrow has been named to the Texas Collegiate League All-League Team.Playing for Weatherford, Furrow tossed a TCL-record 83 innings while posting a 5-2 record with a 1.52 ERA in 16 appearances. He made 10 starts and had two complete games while recording 74 strikeouts.
A rising senior from Woomera, South Australia, Furrow pitched at Weatherford Junior College before joining the Horned Frogs. He posted a 2-0 record with a 3.21 ERA in 18 appearances for TCU in 2006. The southpaw struck out 34 while walking 16 in 42 innings. Opponents batted .256 against him.
