
Jerome Named Third-Team All-American

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU right-hand pitcher Clayton Jerome (Jr., Mesquite, Texas), was named to Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's Louisville Slugger TPX All-American third team. Jerome is one of three Conference USA players to be named to the All-American team.
Jerome has already collected other honors as he was named Conference USA's Pitcher of the Year. He led the Horned Frogs with a 2.34 ERA in 16 starts with five complete games. He posted a 9-4 record to lead all pitchers. In over 111 innings of work, Jerome struck out 106 batters and walked only 25.
Joining Clayton on the All-American team were two other Conference USA players. Ryan Wagner of Houston was selected to the first team as a relief pitcher and first baseman Michael Aubrey of Tulane was named to the second team.
