
Purple/White World Series Begins Thursday

Fort Worth, Texas - The TCU Horned Frog baseball team will begin its annual Purple/White World Series, Thursday at Lupton Stadium and Williams-Reilly Field. Highlighting the World Series will be a Friday night game beginning at 7:00 p.m., pitting third-team All-American pitcher Clayton Jerome against University of Texas transfer Eugene Espineli.
"This is always an exciting way to end fall practice," said Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle. "I know our guys are looking forward to the competitive environment and I invite all TCU fans to come out and get a sneek peek at the 2004 baseball squad."
All games will be seven inning contests and are open to the public free of charge.
