Bio
2021 (Junior): Played in eight matches appearing in 15 sets in her first season in Fort Worth. The tallest player in program history contributed 15 kills and 10 blocks including an 8 kill, two block performance on .353 hitting at Kansas (11/19). Recorded a season-best three blocks in her third appearance, at Texas Tech (11/6).
AT WSU: SOPHOMORE (2020): Appeared in 15 out of 16 matches during the season...Finished the year ranking fifth overall on the Cougs in total kills with 79, along with finishing fifth on the team in kills per set at 1.88 as well...Totaled 22.0 blocks in her second year with WSU, including five solo blocks and 17 block assists...Saw one of her best career matches against Colorado playing inside Bohler Gym where Lusby posted seven kills on 10 total attempts for an attack percentage of .700. During that contest Alexcis also recorded three total blocks.
AT WSU: FRESHMAN (2019): In her debut season as a Coug played in all 33 matches and 122 sets... Her best match at Oregon State (11/7/19) as she recorded 15 kills with an kill percentage of .462 and six blocks... Had seven matches in double digit kills... On the year she was fourth on the team in kills (235) and third in blocks with 108.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Reed High School, and is a member of Northern Nevada Juniors Volleyball Club where she has been a part of a program that has seen multiple successes with her on the court. Lusby helped lead NNJ to second place finishes at the Pacific Northwest Qualifier, and at the Power League Regionals, along with a third place finish at the Golden State Qualifier. Alexcis was named First Team All-League during junior year at Reed HS, and is also a member of the judicial board at the high school. She will look to pursue psychiatry while attending Washington State as well.
PERSONAL. Born November 2000, in Sonora, California...father Kyland is a in the U.S. Army...mother Tera is a nurse...Has one sister, Brittni, and three brothers, Craston, Kyan, and James...Will look to pursue a major in psychiatry (pediatrics) while studying at WSU.
