Carlile joins the TCU volleyball family as a graduate transfer from UAB. As a Blazer, she tallied 600 career kills, 241 digs and 146 blocks over four seasons, including five double-doubles. She set career-bests in kills and digs in her junior season (2019) against Charlotte, posting 23 kills and 18 digs. She graduated from UAB with a major in industrial distribution and a concentration in medical supplies and management.
“Abby will be a great addition to our team for many reasons,” Kramer said. “I’ve absolutely loved getting to know her through the recruiting process. She’s mature, thoughtful, has a solid work ethic, and will be a great teammate. Abby is left-handed which will give us a different look for scouting purposes in the practice gym and a different offensive option in match play. She will top-off her collegiate career tied to the TCU Volleyball lineage, which will serve both her and our team equally well.”
