Horned Frogs are 5-0 on the season
FORT WORTH –The TCU women's soccer team returns home to open up a three match homestand beginning Sunday when the Frogs host No. 18 Butler at 1 p.m. on FSSW+. The contest will conclude TCU's non-conference schedule.
ABOUT THE FROGS
The Horned Frogs (6-1-1) are coming off their first loss of the season, dropping a 3-0 decision at No. 7 Santa Clara on Thursday night. Emily Alvarado made a career-high seven saves in the contest and Maddy Warren took a team-high three shots. TCU returns home where it is a perfect 5-0 this season.
ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
Butler enters the game with a 6-2-0 record after suffering a 2-0 setback at Baylor on Thursday night. The Bulldogs are 0-2 against the Big 12 this season after dropping a 1-0 decision early this season against Kansas. Hannah Luedtke and Leonie Doege split time in goal for the eighth time this season with both surrendering a goal in the games.
SERIES HISTORY
Sunday's meeting will be the first between the two programs in the series. TCU has faced a new opponent already once this season (Pittsburgh). The Horned Frogs defeated Pittsburgh by a 4-0 score on Aug. 30.
