TCU TIDBITS
• TCU is 5-9 all-time in Big 12 openers and 2-2 under head coach Jason Williams.
• The Frogs extended their winning streak to seven matches after a perfect 3-0 at the Fight in the Fort, picking up victories over UTEP, Yale and Rice. It is tied for the longest winning streak in the Jason Williams Era and is the most consecutive wins since TCU won eight in a row in 2013.
• TCU comes into the week ranked No. 11 in the AVCA Taraflex Coaches Poll.

Cincinnati enters Big 12 play 7-3 and is coming off back-to-back wins over Ball State and crosstown rival Xavier. The Bearcats were picked 12th in the Big 12 Preseason Poll after finishing 15-13 overall and 7-11 in conference play last season. Senior outside hitter Sydney Nolan was named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team after earning First Team All-Big 12 and AVCA All-Region honors in 2025. She has already recorded three 20-kill performances in 2026, including 21 kills on .400 hitting in the Bearcats' four-set win over Xavier. TCU leads the all-time series with Cincinnati, 6-5, and has won four consecutive meetings.

West Virginia enters conference play 7-3 after sweeping all three matches at the UNT Invitational last weekend. West Virginia was picked 13th in the Big 12 Preseason Poll after finishing 15-15 last season, but returns much of its production from a year ago, including 2025 All-Big 12 Second Team opposite Trinity Sheridan. Senior outside hitter Nina Horning leads a balanced West Virginia offense with 154 kills at 3.58 per set and has added a team-high 14 service aces. TCU owns a 17-9 advantage in the all-time series with West Virginia and has won each of the last two meetings in straight sets.

DON'T LET THE FROGS GET HOT
• TCU enters Big 12 play as one of the hottest teams in the country, riding a seven-match winning streak.
• During that span, the Frogs are 21-4 in sets and have three sweeps, including No. 14 Purdue on the road on Sept. 6.
• The current streak is tied for the longest winning streak in the Jason Williams Era at TCU. The Frogs won seven straight matches in 2025 (Sept. 1-12) and 2024 (Sept. 7-21).
• With a win on Friday, TCU can extend that streak to eight matches, which will be tied for the fifth-longest winning streak in program history and the most consecutive wins since 2013.

• It is even more impressive considering TCU only returned 43% of its blocks from a season ago, had to replace both starting middles after Sarah Sylvester and Alexis Roberson graduated and welcomed four new middle blockers to campus, three of which had never played a set of collegiate volleyball entering the year.
• So far this season, the Frogs have matched or out-blocked their opponent in all but one contest, including a season-high 19.5 in the win over No. 8 SMU.
• In total, TCU's 107 blocks are 42 more than its opponents have recorded against the Frogs (65).
