TCU faces second conference match
Cincinnati, Ohio – The TCU women's tennis team (5-2, 1-0) heads to Ohio to take on the Cincinnati Bearcats (5-4, 0-1) in their second conference match of the season on Sunday, March 3 at the Trabert-Talbertat Tennis Center at 11 a.m. CST.

Frog Focus
The Horned Frogs travel to Cincinnati from Morgantown, W.Va. where they swept the Mountaineers in the conference opener, 4-0. TCU claimed the doubles point after Yu-Chin Tsai and Chiho Mushika took care of business on court one, 6-3 moving to 4-2 this season as a pair. Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual followed behind quickly winning 7-5 on court two to advance to 3-1 as a duo.
In singles, Pascual was quick to take down Maya Bordereau in straight sets (6-0, 6-1) on court two. The Spaniard is 4-3 this season in singles and 1-1 on court two. Otway stayed undefeated this season in singles (5-0) with a straight set win on court one over Love-Star Alexis.
The fourth point was up for grabs on multiple courts, but it was Helena Narmont who stepped up on court five. The junior won her first match on court five this season in straight sets 6-0, 7-5 to advance to 3-1 in singles.
Scouting the Opposition
The Bearcats enter the match 0-1 in Big 12 play after falling 5-2 to Baylor on Friday in Cincinnati. Cincinnati won the doubles point over the Bears and have taken the doubles point in seven of their eight matches this season.
In singles, Baylor won five matches. Rozalia Gruszczynska battled back after dropping the first set to win 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 against Liubov Kostenko. Gruszczynska holds a team-best 6-2 record in singles play this season.
