Women's Tennis Unveils 2026 Fall Schedule

Horned Frogs look to continue off success in spring season
FORT WORTH – Coming off one of the most historic seasons in program history, the TCU women's tennis program released the team's 2026 fall schedule on Monday.
"We have several players that have worked hard to improve their game this summer," said head coach Lee Taylor Walker. "In turn, this has improved each of their national and international rankings and ratings. This has positioned them to enter some of the best tournaments in the country."
While retaining numerous key pieces that helped guide TCU to its first-ever Big 12 Tournament Championship, the Horned Frogs also brought in numerous talented newcomers who will look to help TCU reload for next season. This year's cohort features a full handful of individuals: Kira Matushkina (St. Petersburg, Russia; Old Dominion), Sofiia Mykhailets (Dnipro, Ukraine; Memphis), Erika Nováková (Prague, Czechia), Sienna Poma Caruso (San Salvador, El Salvador) and Hanna Resch (Munich, Germany). These five individuals tie the most players added in a signing class in program history, matching the total from last season.
"Whether our players want to compete for collegiate championships or become a professional player is up to them," Walker added. "What does not change with either endeavor is the level of commitment required to excel in either sphere. We are fortunate to have such an incredible athletic department that can resource our players to compete at the highest level. This simultaneously helps our players reach their personal goals and dreams while preparing them for a tough spring team season. I can't wait to see what all of these players accomplish this fall.
This year's slate begins with the prestigious and annual All-American Nationals, as this year's event will be held in Cary, North Carolina from Sept. 19-27.
A back-to-back week stretch of professional tournaments will be highlighted by the ITF Berkeley W50 (Sept. 21), the ITF San Rafael W35 (Sept. 28).
The prestigious and annual Battle in the Bay Classic will take place from Oct. 1-4 in San Francisco, Calif.
A day later, individuals will head to the ITF Las Vegas W35 in Les Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 5.
ITA Regionals, an event in which TCU saw plentiful of success last year, will span from Oct. 8-12 in Waco. The ending day for ITA Regionals will also mark the beginning of a handful of professional tournaments, highlighted by the ITF Edmond W100 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
A week later the stretch of pro tournaments will be continued, highlighted by the ITF Austin W50 in Austin, Texas on Oct. 19. Three days later TCU will host its annual Battle for the Boot JAE Foundation Open at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
The end of the month of October will hold both collegiate and professional competitions, as numerous Frogs will head to pro competitions starting on Oct. 26, and various others will compete at the HEB invite from Oct. 29-31 in Waco.
To begin November, numerous Frogs will head to Stillwater, Oklahoma, for the ITF Stillwater W35 which begins on Nov. 2.
Another ITA event will once again be hosted in Fort Worth, as ITA Sectionals will take place from Nov. 5-8 at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. At the same time, ITA Conference Master's will commence in Rome, Georgia.
The pro slate will end with a venture north for the ITF Lincoln W15 in Lincoln, Nebraska on Nov. 9 and then a trip to the east coast for the ITF Clemson W15, beginning on Nov. 16 in Clemson, South Carolina.
The fall slate concludes with the NCAA Individual Championships, running from Nov. 17-22 in Athens, Georgia.
