
Six In A Row! TCU Selected as a No. 4 Seed in the NCAA Tournament

TCU hosts Prairie View A&M Friday night
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's soccer team earned the Big 12's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, marking their sixth straight appearance in the tournament. The Horned Frogs will serve as a first round host for the third time in program history. TCU will face Prairie View A&M Friday night at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
The Frogs have earned the No. 4 seed in thePiscataway, N.J. (Rutgers) Quadrant. Other seeded programs in the quadrant include No. 1 Rutgers, No. 2 Arkansas and No. 3 Notre Dame
TCU is 17-2-2 on the season and ranked as high as No. 5 in the national polls. Along the way, TCU has collected a pair of trophies. TCU won the Big 12 regular season title with a 7-1-1 league mark. The title was the second in the last two seasons. Most recently, TCU defeated Texas 2-1 in the Big 12 Tournament championship game to take home its first-ever tournament title. The 2021 Horned Frogs are just the 10th team in league history to earn both championships in the same season.
TCU is one of just 14 programs to appear in the last six NCAA Tournaments.
The Big 12 earned two bids to the tournament. Texas earned an at large bid to the tournament.
