Lancaster Tabbed Big 12 Freshman of the Week

Freshman has tallied two straight game-winners
FORT WORTH – TCU women's soccer's Camryn Lancaster has been named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week for her performance in the Horned Frogs' win over Kansas State last Friday. The honor is the first for Lancaster and the ninth for TCU this season.
Lancaster assisted on the opening goal and scored the game-winner in the Frogs' 3-2 victory against K-State last Friday. It's the fourth time this season the Mansfield native has contributed to multiple goals in a game. She has been responsible for the last two game-winning goals for TCU. Two of Lancaster's four shots against the Wildcats were on goal.
TCU (14-2-1) rose to No. 6 nationally by TopDrawerSoccer.com and No. 8 in the United Soccer Coaches poll. The Horned Frogs close out the regular season Thursday night at Texas Tech.
Honored previously this season were Messiah Bright (Offensive Player of the Week, Sept. 14), Gracie Brian (Offensive Player of the Week, Aug. 23), Brandi Peterson (Defensive Player of the Week, Aug. 23, Sept. 7, Oct. 11 and Oct. 19), Lauren Kellett (Goalkeeper of the Week Oct. 19) and Grace Collins (Offensive Player of the Week, Sept. 7).
