TCU will continue preseason action by welcoming SMU, Louisiana and Montana State.
FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU volleyball team will return home to continue preseason action as they host Fight in the Fort presented by Aloft Fort Worth Downtown from Sept. 6-8 at The Rickel inside the University Recreation Center.
The Horned Frogs (4-3) will open action against Metroplex rival SMU (1-4) on Thursday at 7 p.m., before taking on Louisiana (5-2) on Friday at 6 p.m. The tournament will wrap-up on Saturday with TCU facing Montana State at 2 p.m.

Fans unable to attend the matches can watch the match against SMU on FOX Sports Southwest while the match against Louisiana will be on FOX Sports Southwest Plus. The final match of the weekend against Montana State will air for free on GoFrogs.com on HFTV. Chuck LaMendola and Alexia Heist will be on the call for all the matches.
Clear Bag Policy
Only the following items will be permitted upon entrance into TCU athletics facilities:
-Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceeding 14 inches by 14 inches
-One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
-One unopened bottle of water
-Small clutch bags with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags
-The Small clutch bags must be approximately the size of a hand
-Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at stadium/arena gates
-Backpacks, diaper bags and other similar bags will not be allowed
Tickets
Tickets for the action this weekend will be available for purchase at the TCU Ticket Office located inside the Rec Center. Each day will be ticketed with adult tickets priced at $10 and youth tickets available for $5. For more ticket information, please call the ticket office at 817-257-FROG.

-Three other Mustangs are putting down over 2.00 kills per set to help should the offensive load starting with Rachel Woulfe (2.18) and Ryan Palmieri (2.18) along with Kelly Brunstein (2.00)
-SMU is running a 6-2 offense with Kendall Patterson (5.41 assists/set) and Lily Heim (4.65 assists/set) splitting the duties
-Montana Watts is patrolling the backrow for SMU with 5.12 digs per set while Meryn Kennedy and Lexi Nordmann are keeping it in check at the net with 1.29 and 1.24 blocks per set, respectively
Scouting The Opponent: Louisiana
-Louisiana is off to a 5-2 start to the season after posting wins over Incarnate Word and UTEP in the opening weekend followed by victories over Mississippi Valley, Nicholls and Sam Houston State last weekend
-Hali Wisnoskie is leading the offensive charge with 3.65 kills per set to go along with 2.22 digs per set
-Three Ragin' Cajun players are hitting over .300 for the season led by Nia Antoine (.373) followed by Hanna Rovira (.325) and Dree'Ana Abram (.300)
-The offense is being managed under the direction of two setters with Avery Breaux leading the way at 5.74 assists per set followed by Milayne Danna at 4.71 assists per set
-Sydney Davis is leading the defense from the backrow with 4.52 digs per set while Breaux is chipping in 2.61 digs per set
-At the net, two different players are putting down over 1.00 blocks per set with Abram leading the way at 1.09 blocks per set following by Antoine at 1.04 blocks per set
Scouting The Opponent: Montana State
-Montana State has only picked up two wins on the season with a five-set victory over Canisius to open the year before sweeping Binghamton to end opening weekend
-Three Bobcat players are averaging over 2.00 kills per set with Natalie Passeck leading the way with 2.87 kills per set to go along with a .306 hitting clip
-Carina Lehton started the season out in the setter role but Allie Lynch has taken over in the last two matches and is averaging 7.67 assists per set
-Allysa Rizzo is pacing the backrow with 5.83 digs per set and also leads Montana State from behind the service line with 0.52 aces per set
Recap: Colorado State Tournament
-TCU dropped three tough battles in its first away tournament of the season to Florida State (3-0), Cincinnati (3-2) and then-No. 25 Colorado State (3-1)
