COMPLETE RANKINGS
FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU senior forward Jordan Calhoun has been named the second-best player in the Mountain West Conference, according to TopDrawerSoccer.com's top-20 player rankings for the league.
Calhoun has scored the game-winning goal for TCU in three of the last four victories. The Norman, Okla., native is second in the Mountain West with her three game winners and has been on fire since returning to the Frogs' starting lineup on Sept. 9, netting all five of her goals. TCU has a 4-0-1 record in games that the senior finds the back of the net. She was named the Offensive Most Valuable Player at the 2011 Red Raider Classic after knocking in a pair of game-winners to lift TCU to 1-0 wins over Toledo and Hofstra.
With her game-winning goal against Northwestern State on Sept. 18, Calhoun notched her 76th career point, surpassing former Frog Sarah Campbell for the program record for career points. Campbell tallied 75 points for the Purple and White from 1986-89. The Norman, Okla., native now has 80 career points, including 12 career assists, six behind the TCU career benchmark set by Allison Calleri from 1996-99. Calhoun is TCU's all-time leading scorer with 34 career goals.
The Top-20 rankings are based on previous accolades, current season performance and the feedback of informed observers all over the country. The list is subject to change at any time and will be replaced with a comprehensive season-ending version in December.
