ST. LOUIS, Mo. - One Horned Frog earned all-conference honors that were released on Tuesday prior to the start of the Conference USA Postseason Tournament in St. Louis, Mo. Jessi Moore was named to the second team for the second straight season. She is the first Horned Frog to earn back-to-back all-conference honors since Allison Calleri was named to the All-WAC Mountain Division second-team in 1997 and first-team in 1998.
Moore led the squad with 26 points this season, which ties her for the second-most points scored in a season by a Horned Frog. Her 10 goals and six assists place her in the top five in the single-season record book. Moore started all 18 games for TCU this season, leading the Frogs in all offensive categories. She also led the league in shots taken with 75. Of her 10 goals this season, three of them were game-winners.
Moore completed her four-year career with some impressive numbers. Prior to coming to TCU, Moore had scored 62 points as a member of the Mississippi State Bulldogs. She recorded her 100th career point in her final collegiate game against Louisville this past Saturday. She finished with 103 career points, 41 of which came at TCU. Her career totals stand at 35 goals and 33 assists.
The Frogs finished the season with a 6-11-1 overall record and tied for eighth in Conference USA with a 4-5-1 record.
