FALL 2005 (SOPHOMORE): Went 0-2 in singles play during the fall season...Played in the Mean Green Invitational in Denton, Texas, in September...Lost 6-2, 6-0 to Jana Cucciniello from Texas State and 6-3, 6-0 to Texas-Arlington[apos]s Marissa Brown...Teamed with Melissa Beré for doubles play, going 0-3 in Denton...The duo fell 8-3 to Deanna Carrillo and Lane Holder of Texas Tech...Fell 8-5 to Jolinda Bouwer and Austin Mills from Tyler Junior College...Lost by an 8-1 score to SMU[apos]s sister duo of Brooke and Halley Rambally.
2004-05 (FRESHMAN): Posted a 1-5 record in singles action while competing in two tournaments during the fall...Did not see any action in the spring...Won her first collegiate match against Natascha Jongeneel of McNeese State 6-3, 6-4 at the Mean Green Invitational in September...Lost two other singles matches at the tournament to players from Tyler Junior College and McNeese State...The second tourney she played in was the ASU Thunderbird Invitational in November...Had matches with competitors from California and Michigan...Teamed with Molly Purdy in doubles...The duo went 0-2 together playing against teams from McNeese State and Louisiana-Lafayette at the Mean Green Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIOR: Was an all-state selection as a junior and senior at Lake Highlands High School in Dallas...A four-year letterwinner...Served as team captain her senior year...Her high school head coach was Bob Williams.
PERSONAL: Is enrolled in the TCU College of Arts and Sciences...Full name is Alexandra Bartzen Allin...Born Feb. 26, 1986...The daughter of Jim and Angela Allin...Her mother, Angela, is a tennis professional who played for four years at TCU...Is the granddaughter of legendary TCU men[apos]s coach Bernard 'Tut' Bartzen...Enjoys scrap-booking...Is a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.
