TCU set for road showdown
PROVO, Utah – The TCU women's soccer team is set to round off its three-match road swing to begin conference play with a showdown against BYU on Monday, September 28 at 8 p.m. at South Field.
TCU (4-3-1, 1-1-0 Big 12) is coming off a gritty performance against a tough Utah squad, where the Horned Frogs fought and walked away with a 1-0 victory. Eres Freifeld scored the lone goal for TCU in the first half, and the Frogs defense proved vital in securing the third shutout of the season and the win.
The Frogs are coming into an environment that is third nationally in both average and total home attendance so far this year. With over 3,000 fans attending their matches on average, BYU is primed to hold a high attendance number with TCU coming to town.
These two teams are not short for dramatics either, as five of the last six matchups have been decided by one goal or less.
