Horned Frogs shift focus to Bulldogs
FORT WORTH – In their second of four consecutive SEC showdowns, the TCU women's soccer program is primed to take on No. 17 Georgia on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.

- Thursday will set a new first for these two programs, as TCU and Georgia are set to play against each other for the first time.
- Last season, Georgia made the NCAA Tournament with a 10-5-6 overall record and earned three ranked wins throughout the regular season.
- TCU's contest against the Bulldogs will be the third ranked opponent that the Frogs have played so far this season.
- Forward Emma Yolinsky secured the second brace of her career a week ago against No. 18 Alabama.
- The Frogs were picked to finish first in the Big 12 by the league's coaches, securing 13 total first-place votes.
- Morgan Brown (#7) and Kamdyn Fuller (#21) were two TCU players who were listed inside TopDrawerSoccer's Top-100 Players preseason list.

- Through three contests so far, TCU has played two programs inside the top 25, and the matchup against Georgia will be the fourth showdown against a ranked opponent this season. The Frogs will continue their tough nonconference slate with showdowns against in-state foes Texas A&M (Sept. 3) and Texas (Sept. 6).
- TCU will have one of the two Big 12 matches set to be nationally televised, as the Frogs' matchup with Texas Tech on Oct. 11 will be on ESPNU.
- A historical mantra of the TCU women's soccer program, "FIGHT" has been a mainstay staple throughout the Eric Bell era of what it means to play soccer for TCU. The proof is in the pudding. In the season-opening showdown against No. 22 Wisconsin, TCU was able to fight and scratch out a win without recording a single shot on goal the entire match and an iconic defensive performance.
- Freshman Mackenzie Hilderman scored her first career goal on Sunday against UTSA, scoring off a free kick in the late first half. The freshman has started the past two games at center back and is the only freshman to have started in both matches for TCU.
