The TCU Women's Tennis team plays in their second straight ranked matchup as they face the No. 45 Washington State Cougars on Saturday at 1 p.m.
FORT WORTH- The No. 53 TCU women's tennis team looks to finish the homestand strong against the No. 45 Washington State Cougars on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

FROG FOCUS
The Horned Frogs are 3-3 coming into the match, and 2-2 in their last four games. TCU is coming off of a 1-6 loss to the Texas Longhorns.
The match began in doubles, where Texas won on courts two and three to secure the doubles point.
In singles, the Longhorns got off to a hot start, starting with Cha Kempenears-Pocz defeating Tomi Main on court five, 6-1, 6-2. However, the Horned Frogs fought back when Raquel Caballero defeated No. 124 Eszter Meri to earn her first ranked win of the season. But Texas continued to fight, taking courts one and three where No. 87 Sabina Zeynalova defeated Jade Otway (6-1, 6-2), and No. 104 Ashton Bowers defeated Isabel Pascual (6-3, 6-2)
Yu-Chin Tsai put in two strong sets against No. 25 Carmen Herea, 4-6, 6-2, before falling in the tiebreak 5-10. In the last match of the day, Maya Drozd fell to Salma Drugdova, 6-1, 6-4.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
The Washington State Cougars are 9-3 this season and are looking for their first road win of the season. They are 3-1 in their last four games, with wins against Seattle, Boise State and Fresno State.
The Cougars have the No. 88 ranked doubles team in the nation in Maxine Murphy and Eva Alvarez-Sande. The pair is 12-7 on the season.
This is the second time the Horned Frogs are facing the Cougars, with the only prior meeting resulting in a 6-3 TCU win in 1996 in Hawaii.
