No. 10 TCU hosts Maggie Dixon Classic on Sunday as Campbell goes for 100th career win
FORT WORTH – TCU head coach Mark Campbell will vie for his 100th career head coaching win when the 10th-ranked Horned Frogs welcome UTRGV to Schollmaier Arena at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The Horned Frogs will also host the 19th Maggie Dixon Classic, which is played annually in honor of the late army women's basketball head coach and younger sister of TCU men's basketball head coach Jamie Dixon.
TCU is sponsoring the Maggie Dixon Classic for the seventh straight season.

- Campbell will have needed just 140 games to reach triple figures in wins with a victory over the Vaqueros. Among Big 12 coaches, only Iowa State's Bill Fennelly has had a faster rise to 100 wins at the D1 level than Campbell
- Campbell's career win percentage (.712) is the fourth-highest among all Big 12 coaches.

Olivia Miles
- Miles ranks second in the Big 12 and seventh nationally in assists per game (7.6).
- Miles' 692 career assists are the second-most of any player nationwide..
- Miles is the only player in college basketball averaging at least 15 points, seven assists and six
- rebounds per game.
- Miles is also one of two Big 12 players ranking in the top-10 of the league in points and assists per game.
- Miles is the active D1 leader in career assists per game average (6.5) and triple doubles (six). She is also the lone D1 player with at least 25 career double-doubles and five triple-doubles.
- The New Jersey native leads all D1 guards in 15-5-5 games (28) cabd areer double-doubles (27)
- Miles has dished out five-or-more assists in 72 percent (76-106) of her career games played.
- Miles snagged a career-high 14 rebounds in on Nov. 16 in TCU's win at No. 10 NC State.
- Miles was named to the Wooden Award Top 50 Watch List on Tuesday. She and Iowa State's Audi Crooks are the only Big 12 players who received preseason consideration for every national player of the year award.
- Hunter is the only Division I hooper averaging at least 14 points and three 3-pointers per game while shooting it 60 percent from the field.

- Scherr drained 6-6 attempts from downtown in just 22 minutes in TCU's win over Tennessee State on Nov. 12. In addition to setting career-highs for first half points scored (16) and 3-pointers, Scherr became the nation's lone player to shoot 100 percent from distance on six-plus attempts.
- Scherr has finished with three-plus steals on 24 occasions. She tallied 11 three-steal games as a junior at Kentucky in 2022-23.
- Scherr has connected at a 53 percent clip (9-17) from distance over her last four outings.
- Scherr, along with Olivia Miles, is one of only 14 active players with at least 350 career assists and 170 steals to her name.
- Scherr has 22 career 5-5-5 games to her name.
- Silva ranks fifth in the Big 12 in both rebounds per game (8.2) and blocks per game (2.4).
- Silva is one of 16 players nationwide and the only player from the Big 12 averaging at least eight rebounds and two blocks per game
- Silva recorded her first career double-double at No. 10 NC State on Nov. 16, finishing with 12 rebounds and 11 points. Her 12 rebounds vs. the Wolfpack were a career high.

- The Maggie Dixon Classic is an annual nonconference women's basketball event played in honor of former Army women's basketball head coach Maggie Dixon.
- Dixon led Army to its first-and-only Patriot League Championship and NCAA Tournament in 2006 before passing away suddenly just weeks later due to an undiagnosed heart arrhythmia.
- Dixon is the lone coach in the history of Army men's and women's basketball to guide a team to the Big Dance, a feat made all the more impressive when considering Bob Knight and Mike Krzyzewski once paced the sidelines in West Point.
- The inaugural Maggie Dixon Classic took place in West Point in November 2006. The Classic was then held inside Madison Square Garden from 2007-2015.
- The Classic relocated to Funky Town in 2018 ahead of TCU men's basketball head coach Jamie Dixon's third year helming his alma mater. The Horned Frogs hosted the Black Knights in the event's first playing in Fort Worth. TCU won the game 63-38. The Frogs faced Louisiana Tech in the most recent playing of the event, defeating the Lady Techsters 92-41 on Dec. 15
- Jamie Dixon had this to say ahead of the 2018 Maggie Dixon Classic between TCU and Army: "The first basketball Maggie probably remembers is watching me play at TCU. I was 17 when I came here, she was 5, so I'm sure she remembers going to watch the games at the local pizza parlor to watch on the satellite at the bar. It was the only way you could get them back in the day. ... This event is important to women's basketball. It's a premier game. It has name recognition and that's why we want to keep it going."

- TCU and UTRGV first faced off on Dec. 7, 1978. Back then, UTRGV was known as the Pan American University Broncs. Both programs competed in the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) at that time. TCU did not transition to Division I until 1982. The inaugural matchup between the teams took place in Kingsville, Texas. TCU won the game 83-56.
- The Frogs' win over UTRGV in 1978 was only the 11th victory in program history. TCU debuted its women's basketball program in 1977-78.
- TCU and UTRGV's most recent encounter unfolded in the opening round of the WNIT in 2016. The Horned Frogs led by as many as 33 points in a 97-73 win. Zahna Medley, TCU's all-time leading scorer among four-year players, tallied a game-high 21 points while AJ Alix added 20.
- UTRGV picked up its lone victory over TCU on Jan. 5, 2012 via a 56-54 triumph in Fort Worth. It was TCU's final nonconference game as a member of the Mountain West Conference. TCU transitioned to the Big 12 the following year.
