
Sajewich Earns Academic Honor

FORT WORTH - TCU women's soccer defender Lauren Sajewich has been honored as a second-team CoSIDA Academic All-District VII performer. The sophomore is one of seven Big 12 athletes to be selected.
Sajewich, a native of Frankfort, Ill., boasts a 4.0 GPA in movement science. She has appeared in and started every match of her young career. Since joining the team in 2013, Sajewich has played in all but 22 minutes of game time. In 36 career matches, she has three goals and one assist for seven points.
The Horned Frogs wrap up the 2014 regular season Friday night against Iowa State. The Big 12 postseason tournament is slated to begin Wednesday, Nov. 5 in Kansas City at Swope Soccer Village.
