Horned Frogs open NCAA Tournament with first round tilt vs. Denver
FORT WORTH – TCU men's tennis is set to host the NCAA Tournament for the 11th consecutive year, starting with a first round dual at 5 p.m. on Friday vs. Denver at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
The No. 2 ranked Horned Frogs (21-5) received the No. 6 overall seed in the 64-team affair, marking their sixth straight season securing a national seed.
Preceding TCU's tilt with the Summit League champion Pioneers (18-5) is a 2 p.m. match between No. 29 Cornell (18-3) and No. 38 Arkansas (16-14). The winners play at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the Fort Worth Regional final.
TCU is riding an eight-match winning streak into the Big Dance. The Horned Frogs have competed to a 13-1 record since the 2026 campaign shifted outdoors in March.
Under the direction of head coach David Roditi, the Frogs are 24-0 at home in NCAA Tournament play.
TCU has won an NCAA-leading 30 consecutive outdoor home matches in a streak that dates to March of 2023.
Friday's bout will be the third meeting between TCU and Denver. TCU last faced the Pioneers on Jan. 23, 2021, in Fort Worth during ITA Kickoff Weekend.
All three matches will be streamed live via PlaySight as a part of a Cracked Racquets CrossCourt cast.
In the case of inclement weather, matches will move to the indoor Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
Admission to the Fort Worth Regional is free.
