FORT WORTH – No. 7 TCU begins a three-match SEC road swing on Saturday with a dual opposite its fiercest rival.
The Horned Frogs are set to challenge 2026 ITA Indoor National champion Texas at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Texas Tennis Center in Austin.
Following the clash with the second-ranked Longhorns, TCU (8-4) heads east for matches vs. No. 24 Florida and No. 8 Georgia on Tuesday and Friday, respectively.
Saturday's Lone Star State showdown continues a six-week stretch that will see the Horned Frogs play nine-of-10 matches away from the purple courts.
TCU and Texas (13-3) are squaring off for the second time in 2026. The Horned Frogs fell 4-3 to the Longhorns in the Indoor Nationals quarterfinals on Feb. 14 in Waco. TCU led 2-0 and 3-2 in the match but was unable to find a third court in singles.
Saturday's bout will be 13th meeting between TCU and Texas in the last four seasons, with each program holding six victories opposite one other. The Horned Frogs defeated the Longhorns in the 2023 ITA Indoor Nationals final and 2024 NCAA Championship and ousted Texas in the 2025 NCAA semifinals.
The trek to Gainesville completes a home-and-home deal between the Horned Frogs and Gators (7-6) that began last season. TCU shut out Florida 4-0 on Feb. 9, 2025 at the indoor Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
TCU rolled past Georgia 4-1 on Jan. 26 in Fort Worth during ITA Kickoff Weekend. The Frogs are visiting Athens, the site of the NCAA Championships in 2026 and 2027, for the first time since 2012.
