FROG FOCUS
The Horned Frogs will be hoping for a return to their winning ways on the home courts. TCU is 6-0 this season at home, winning five of those six matches via 4-0 sweep.
TCU is 18-2 this season in home singles matches, led by a 4-0 record from freshman Jade Otway. Five Horned Frogs boast undefeated home singles records: Otway (4-0), Mercedes Aristegui (3-0), Aleksa Cveticanin (3-0), Helena Narmont (3-0) and Isabel Pascual (2-0).
Overall, three Frogs are tied for the team lead with seven victories on the purple courts this season (Cveticanin, Otway and Pascual). Pascual (7-0) and Narmont (4-0) are the only two Frogs who have not lost a match in either discipline at home.
This will be the first of a four-match home stand for TCU to close out the non-conference schedule. The Frogs will take on Texas State, Memphis and UCSB at home before conference play begins, March 10, at Baylor.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
Stephen F. Austin enters the dual with a 4-3 record. The Lady Jacks have one common opponent with TCU, Northwestern State. The Horned Frogs defeated NSU, 4-0, back in January, while SFA fell to NSU earlier this season, 5-2. This will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
