Frogs kick off seventh season in the Big 12
FORT WORTH – Due to inclement weather predictions, TCU's Big 12 opening conference soccer match against Iowa State has been moved to a Noon start at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium. TCU is in its seventh season in the Big 12 Conference.
TCU NOTABLES
• TCU wrapped up its non-conference slate with a 7-1-1 record.
• TCU's schedule to this point is ranked as the 14th toughest in the NCAA.
• TCU sits ninth in the first RPI ranking released on Monday which is tops in the Big 12.
• TCU scored six goals in a defeat of No. 18 Butler. It was the first time since the 2016 season that the Frogs have scored that many goals in game.
• TCU is tied for sixth nationally with six shutouts this season.
• Kayla Hill, who scored the 14th hat trick in school history, is one of 38 players in the NCAA to score three goals in a game this year.
• Hill also recorded her team-leading third game-winning goal this season, a mark that ranks 13th in the nation.
• Maddy Warren scored her fifth goal of the season and is tied for fifth among NCAA freshman in goals scored and total points (12).
• Katie Lund and Emily Alvarado have combined to allow the fourth fewest goals in the Big 12 this season.

The three goals pushed Hill's season total to a career-high five goals. She leads the team with three game-wininng goals.

MAKING THEIR MARK
While small in actual number, the six freshmen have made a big impact on the squad this season. They have combined to score eight goals and have pitched in seven assists for 23 points. Additionally, the group has three game-winning goals.
