Frogs wrap up three game road swing
FORT WORTH - The TCU women's soccer team will wrap up a three game road trip Sunday afternoon at Kansas State. The match will be televised on ESPN3 with first touch coming at 12:30 p.m.
ABOUT THE HORNED FROGS
TCU dropped a heartbreaker its last time out, falling to No. 25 Kansas by a 2-1 score in overtime. The Frogs rallied from a 1-0 deficit to tie the game on a Maddy Warren blast from 30 yards out. A scoreless second half sent the Frogs to overtime for the second consecutive game. Kansas capitalized just 1:31 into the first OT session.
ABOUT THE WILDCATS
Kansas State is still searching for its first win in Big 12 play this season after dropping a 2-0 decision to Texas Tech on Friday night. The Wildcats have been shutout in four straight games and have scored just one goal in Big 12 play. Katie Cramer and Brookelynn Entz are tied the lead with two goals apiece.
SERIES HISTORY
Sunday's meeting will be just the second in the series as the Kansas State program is just in its third year of existence.TCU and Kansas State met for the first time as conference foes in 2017. The Horned Frogs came out victorious by a 1-0 score with the lone goal being an own goal in the 76th minute.
