TCU vs. New Mexico Post-Game Notes

- TCU recorded its first victory against a ranked team since knocking off DePaul in the semifinals of the Conference USA Tournament last year. The Blue Demons were ranked No. 12 in the AP poll and 11th in the coaches' poll at the time.
- The Lady Frogs got their first win in six games against ranked teams this season.
- TCU junior forward Ashley Davis set a new career-high with 18 points. Her previous best was 17, which she scored four times.
- TCU junior guard Natasha Lacy reached double figures in scoring for a team-leading 10th time this season.
- TCU sophomore guard Adrianne Ross tallied a career-high 24 points, breaking her previous best of 23 that was set against California in 2004 and versus Arkansas State this season.
- Ross has played two games in a row without a knee brace that she had worn since coming back from a torn ACL suffered in November 2004. She is averaging 21 points with no brace.
- The Lady Frogs are now 56-4 under coach Jeff Mittie when they shoot at least 45 percent from the floor. TCU is also 69-7 when it scores at least 75 points under Mittie.
- TCU used its transition game to outscore the Lobos 20-0 on the fast break.
- The Lady Frogs' 47.1 percent (8-of-17) shooting from behind the arc was a season-high.
- TCU forced New Mexico into 19 turnovers and came away with 13 steals. The Lobos forced 13 miscues and had just three steals.
- After TCU built an 11-point lead (14-3) with 12:57 remaining in the first half, New Mexico went on a 15-0 run over the next 6:16. TCU trailed 30-23 with 1:52 remaining in the half before going on a 7-0 spurt to tie the score at the intermission.
- TCU sophomore forward Lorie Butler-Rayford returned to the starting lineup for the first time since the Duke game on Dec. 6.
