Played and started in 30 games for TCU … led the team in scoring with 14.2 points per game … also led TCU with 1.77 steals per game … scored a career-high 33 points against Texas Tech (Jan. 7) … made the most 3-pointers in a Big 12 game in the 2022-23 season with eight against Texas Tech (Jan. 7) finished the season tied for the fourth-most 3-pointers made in a single season in school history (78) … scored double figures 10 games in a row from North Carolina (Nov. 12) to Nicholls (Dec. 21) … had back-to-back 20-point games against George WAshington (Dec. 5) and Missouri State (Dec. 9) … scored 25 points at Oklahoma State (Jan. 14) … tallied 22 points at Oklahoma where TCU scored a season-high 78 points (Jan. 31) … led TCU in scoring 19 times in 2022-23 … recorded a career-best six rebounds against Lipscomb (Nov. 7) and at Kansas State (Jan. 21) … played the entirety of four games … dished out 47 assists … added five blocks … went onto shoot .404 from the field (131-of-324), .368 from three (78-of-212) and .835 from the stripe (.835).

Tomi Taiwo (pronounced TYE-WOAH) makes the move to Fort Worth following a four-year career at Iowa ... with the Hawkeyes, Taiwo started in five of 102 games played ... she averaged 3.1 points and 1.3 rebounds per game ... shot career totals of 45 percent from the field, 42 percent from beyond the arc and 84 percent from the free throw line ... was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten Team selection at Iowa, earning the honor as a sophomore, junior and senior ... this past season she was also named to Iowa's Dean's List ... was a two-time honorable mention AP all-State selection as a junior and senior while attending Carmel High School ... set Carmel's all-time record for three-pointers made in a season, draining 65 shots from downtown during her junior campaign ... guided three different teams to a total of four sectional championships, including Roseville Area High School (Roseville, Minn.) in 2015, Homestead High School (Fort Wayne, Ind.) in 2016, and Carmel High School in 2017 and 2018 ... varsity letterwinner in basketball, track, and tennis.
