Logan Mittie was mainly a role player for the Frogs this past season, but could see her minutes increase in the future due to her ability to shoot the ball. One of the Horned Frogs most consistent shooters from outside, Mittie saw key minutes in some games this season due to her knowledge of the game and ability to put the ball in the bucket.
2011-12 (FRESHMAN)
Mittie was a key contributor for the Frogs off the bench during her first year on campus ... In all, Mittie saw action in 22 games during her freshman campaign ... She grabbed three boards in 10 minutes of action against UTSA ... Scored the first three points of her TCU career against Fordham ... Poured in a career-high six points against Houston, including 2-of-2 from behind the line ... She posted double-digit minutes played with 12 against Tulsa ... Mittie recorded career-highs in field goal attempts (4), three-point field goal attempts (2), free throws (2), free throw attempts (4), assists(2) and blocks (1) against Texas Southern ... Tied her career-high in points with six against Air Force, while playing a total of 12 minutes.
Aledo High School
Mittie was a two-time all-state selection at Aledo High School ... She earned district MVP accolades twice, while earning four letters in basketball and one in volleyball, respectively ... Closed our her career for the Bearcats averaging 19.6 points per game, five steals and eight rebounds per contest ... She is the daughter of head coach Jeff Mittie.
