Served primarily as the third catcher throughout the season... made two appearances, one as a defensive replacement and one as a pinch hitter... doubled on the first pitch he saw in a Horned Frog uniform against Houston (March 28)... scored a run in the game... also registered one plate appearance against Kansas State (April 26).
At North Florida
Spent last two seasons at North Florida... started 84 games as part of 91 appearances... of the 84 starts, 79 came as the catcher... hit .255 with 76 hits including 10 doubles and eight home runs... tallied 42 RBIs... registered 19 multi-hit games and nine multiple-RBI contests... recorded a hit in 53 games and reached safely in 66.
Prior to North Florida
Played two seasons at Gulf State College in Panama City, Fla.... had a breakout season as a sophomore, earning 2021 Panhandle All-Conference, Panhandle Defensive Player of the Year and Florida JUCO Defensive Player of the Year laurels... hit .319 in his first year of junior college ball before hitting eight home runs and 35 RBI last season... redshirted in his first season of college at New Orleans.
High School
Attended high school at Lincoln High School in Tallahassee... helped lead his squad to the 2017 Florida State Baseball Championship... hit .337 as a high school junior and .371 during his senior year... was a two-time first-team all Big-Bend... named to numerous Perfect Game all-tournament teams.
