TCU set to open season with two road meets
FORT WORTH – A new season awaits the TCU swimming and diving program as the squad is set to compete in two meets over the next two days, first facing off against Texas A&M in College Station on Friday in an intrasquad before heading to San Antonio on Saturday for a meet versus Incarnate Word.

The Texas A&M meet starts at 4 p.m. while against Incarnate Word diving will begin at 9 a.m. and swimming at 12 p.m.

Friday's scored intrasquad competition against the Aggies will feature athletes from Texas A&M and TCU combining rosters before being drafted into two men's and two women's teams that will compete head-to-head in the pool. It will be normal dual meet scoring with 9-4-3-2-1 points for individual events and 11-4-2 for relays. The men's and women's 1-meter and 3-meter springboard dives will be contested concurrently with the swimming events.

TCU has recent familiarity with both programs, as last season the Frogs were able to earn two season-opening victories against Incarnate Word before also taking on the Aggies in mid-October.

The Horned Frogs had a representative at the NCAA Championships last season, as Nina Vadovicova was the first female swimmer to qualify since 2012 when Sabine Rasch did so.

With six program records falling last season by returning swimmers and divers, TCU returns a depth of experience and talented newcomers who look to make a splash on the Big 12 and national stage. At the 2026 Big 12 Championships, 27 top-10 times and eight top-three finishes were secured by TCU.

During the summer, the Frogs stayed busy as Deacon Gutshall competed at the FISU America Games, Odessa Kack went to the Senior European Championships, and other TCU representatives took part in national and international events.
