Are two of only 18 D1 men’s tennis players to receive the recognition
FORT WORTH – Standouts on and off the court, Duncan Chan and Cosme Rolland De Ravel were selected to the 2025-26 Division I Academic All-America Men's Tennis Team as announced by College Sports Communicators.
The award is the highest academic honor a college athlete can attain. The CSC All-American teams are comprised of student-athletes who combine outstanding athletic achievement with proficiency in the classroom.
Chan was named to the Academic All-America first team while Rolland De Ravel garnered second team accolades.
Together, they are two of only 18 athletes who received the recognition. TCU, along with Mississippi State and Ohio State, was one of three D1 programs to produce multiple academic All-Americans.
Chan, who was cited as an ITA All-American in singles and doubles, is among an exclusive six-player contingent that earned first team All-American credentials both athletically and academically. A soon-to-be senior, Chan is majoring in economics and minoring in general business. He has maintained a 3.54 grade point average throughout his time in Fort Worth. The Markham, Ontario became the second TCU men's tennis player to earn the first team Academic All-American nod, joining Lui Maxted ('25) in exclusive company.
Rolland De Ravel completed his Bachelor of General Studies degree with a business emphasis in May. Originally from Fontain Les Dijon, France, Rolland De Ravel graduated with a 3.71 grade point average. He shared ITA All-American honors in doubles with Chan.
