FORT WORTH – Officially 100 days away from the start of the volleyball season, TCU head coach Jason Williams announced the full 2026 schedule on Thursday afternoon.
The Horned Frogs will play 21 matches against NCAA Tournament teams, including eight against teams that advanced to the Sweet 16. Last season, TCU recorded 20+ wins for the second consecutive year, marking its first back-to-back 20-win seasons since 2008-09. The Frogs also won a program record six matches against ranked opponents in 2025.
The 2026 schedule kicks off in Las Vegas, where the Frogs are set to play in the inaugural Players Era Volleyball Showcase. TCU is slated to face off against Texas (Aug. 29) and UNLV (Aug. 30) in the first of its kind event.
TCU returns to Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena to take on SMU in its home opener on September 2. The highly anticipated matchup renews the crosstown rivalry with the Mustangs, marking the first match between the two programs since 2021.
The non-conference gauntlet continues for the Frogs with a weekend swing trip to Louisville (Sept. 4) and Purdue (Sept. 6). TCU will then have a week of training before traveling to Tampa for matches against Dayton (Sept. 10), USF (Sept. 11) and Michigan (Sept. 12).
With one more weekend before conference play begins, the Frogs host UTEP in a midweek matchup (Sept. 16) and welcome Yale (Sept. 18) and Rice (Sept. 18) for the annual Fight in the Fort.
The Frogs open Big 12 play at Cincinnati (Sept. 25) and at West Virginia (Sept. 27). They return home to host Colorado on October 2, kicking off a stretch of three straight matches in Schollmaier Arena. TCU also welcomes UCF (Oct. 4) and Arizona (Oct. 9) to Funky Town before making a quick weekend trip to Tempe to face off with the defending Big 12 Champs, Arizona State, on October 11.
October continues with another three-match homestand as Texas Tech (Oct. 16), Baylor (Oct. 18) and Kansas (Oct. 23) all make their way to Fort Worth. TCU wraps up the month in Waco on October 30 against Baylor, and returns home to host Kansas State on November 1.
Five of the Frogs' final seven matches of the season come on the road. First, TCU travels to Houston for a matchup with the Cougars on November 6 and then heads to the Sunflower State to take on Kansas State (Nov. 13) and Kansas (Nov. 15).
The Frogs' final two home matches of the regular season come on November 20 and 22 against Arizona State and Iowa State, respectively. TCU wraps up its Big 12 slate on the road with matches at Utah (Nov. 25) and BYU (Nov. 27).
Season tickets for all 13 home matches go on sale June 1. Tickets for the Players Era Volleyball Showcase are available now.
