Rolland De Ravel returns as Horned Frogs roll to 4-0 win
STILLWATER, Okla. – TCU is enjoying the longest home outdoor winning streak in college tennis, yet the Greenwood Tennis Center might as well be its second residence.
The Horned Frogs made their first trip back to Stillwater since winning the 2024 NCAA Championship on the campus of Oklahoma State on Thursday for a Big 12 dual vs. the Cowboys.
And again, the visit was a pleasant one, as No. 4 TCU breezed to a 4-0 victory in a match that lasted less than two hours.
The Horned Frogs (18-5, 6-1 Big 12) notched their third straight shutout and improved to 10-1 on the outdoor courts.
TCU now turns its attention to a 1 p.m. dual on Sunday in Waco opposite No. 11 Baylor in its regular season finale. The victor earns the No. 2 seed and a first round bye in the Big 12 Tournament, which runs from April 16-18 in Orlando, Florida. No. 8 Arizona has secured the top seed and a share of the regular season league title.
Thursday's tilt saw the Frogs drop just two sets all night vs. the Cowboys (14-10, 1-6 Big 12), tabbed 41st in the most recent ITA rankings.
TCU took the doubles point with convincing wins at the top and bottom. Cooper Woestendick, Albert Pedrico and Roger Pascual claimed courts two, four and five, respectively, to punctuate the shutout.
All seven Horned Frogs who competed won a match.
The most notable development arrived in doubles, as it marked the return Cosme Rolland De Ravel from a five-match injury absence. Rolland De Ravel, one half of the nation's No. 1 ranked doubles tandem alongside Duncan Chan, played on the 3-line with Maximus Dussault. Together, they clinched the doubles point via a 6-3 triumph over Ian Bracks and Charlie Valentine.
TCU pitched its eighth shutout of the 2026 campaign and 49th over the last four seasons.
The Horned Frogs have now won eight straight matches vs. Oklahoma State and 16 of last 17 overall.
TCU has not tasted defeat in Stillwater since 2009.
