Tabbed to The Athletic All-America first team ahead of Big 12 Tournament
FORT WORTH – The first of many All-American accolades in March has arrived for Olivia Miles.
Miles was named to The Athletic All-America first team ahead of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Tournament.
The honor marks the first time Miles has received first team All-American recognition in her career.
Miles, the 2026 Big 12 Player and Newcomer of the Year, is now a four-time All-American. The graduate guard garnered second team credentials from all major publications in 2024-25 and 2022-23 and was an honorable mention selection in 2021-22.
A product of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, Miles continues to enjoy her best season as a collegian in No. 10 TCU's spread pick-n-roll offense. Miles is averaging 20.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 49 percent from the field. She is the only player in college basketball who has tallied at least 600 points, 200 rebounds and 200 assists and one of 11 in the history of sport to put up the cumulative stat line in a season. Miles has accounted for 45 percent of TCU's total offensive output. She ranks in the top-20 nationally in total assists (5th, 203), assists per game (7th, 6.5) and points per game (17th, 20.1).
Behind Miles, the Horned Frogs (27-4, 15-3 Big 12) won their second consecutive undisputed Big 12 regular season championship and are enjoying a six-game winning streak ahead of the conference tournament. Miles increased her scoring average to 21.2 points per game in league play and finished as the Frogs' leading scorer in 14-of-18 Big 12 bouts.
TCU faces either No. 8 seed Utah or No. 9 BYU at 1:30 p.m. on Friday in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals after securing a double bye. Miles is two assists away from breaking Hailey Van Lith's TCU single-season assists record.
