No. 14 TCU begins two-game road swing on Sunday in Boulder

FORT WORTH – No. 14 TCU is serving up a Super Bowl appetizer at 2 p.m. as the Horned Frogs are set to take on Colorado in Boulder.

Sunday's rumble in the Rockies is crucial to TCU's pursuit of repeating as Big 12 champions. A victory over the Buffalos sets up a 'winner takes first' battle with No. 15 Baylor on Thursday in Waco. The Horned Frogs and Bears are tied for first in the league standings and will play two of their final six games opposite one another.

Beginning with its clash vs. Colorado, TCU will play four of its next five games opposite teams in the top-half of the Big 12 standings.

Frog Focus

Under head coach Mark Campbell, TCU has morphed into one of the nation's winningest programs. The Horned Frogs rank fifth among all D1 programs in winning percentage (.887) and total wins (55) since 2024-25. Campbell's 76 wins as TCU's head man are the seventh-most at the Power Conference level over the past three seasons.
Campbell became the fourth TCU men's or women's basketball coach to post three straight 20-win seasons following the Horned Frogs' 79-77 win over Kansas on Jan 29.
The Horned Frogs are four victories away from posting consecutive 25-win seasons for the first time in TCU men's or women's basketball history.
Giving grist to TCU's recent dominance, four of the Horned Frogs' seven losses over the last two seasons, including all three in 2025-26. have either been by one possession or come in overtime. Also of note, the Horned Frogs have not lost back-to-back games at any point since 2024-25.
TCU is aiming to become the first team in the history of the Big 12 to win back-to-back regular season championships within three years of finishing in last place.
TCU remains the Big 12's highest-rated team in The Associated Press poll (No. 14), USA Today Coaches' Poll (No. 12) and NCAA NET rankings (No. 11) for the fourth straight week.
Wednesday's 90-45 home triumph over Houston was TCU's largest margin of victory in a Big 12 game in program history.
Olivia Miles and Marta Suarez have each finished with at least 20 points and five rebounds in five games, more than any pair of teammates in college basketball. They both ticked the box in Wednesday's win.
Miles and Suarez teamed up for 49 points on 19-28 shooting (68 percent) vs. Houston. It was the duo's highest combined scoring output in regulation this season.
Miles (25 points), Suarez (24 points) and Donovyn Hunter (15 points) accounted for 64 of TCU's 90 points in Wednesday's win over Houston. It was the most points scored collectively by the trio in 2025-26.
Miles, Suarez and Hunter have teamed up to score 50-plus 11 times. TCU is 10-1 overall and unbeaten in regulation when the three players put 50 points on the board.
Miles and Suarez are the highest-scoring duo in the Big 12, averaging a combined 34.9 points per game. They are the one of two sets of teammates in the conference each averaging more than 15 points per game.
Miles and Suarez are also one the only duo nationwide averaging at least 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and two assists per game.
Miles, Suarez and Hunter are the country's fifth-highest scoring trio (47.1 ppg).
TCU is one of six teams in the country with four players averaging at least 10 points per game and shooting 46 percent or better from the floor; Miles, Suarez, Hunter and Clara Silva.
The Horned Frogs' primary starting five of Miles, Suarez, Hunter, Silva and Taylor Bigby is the fifth highest-scoring starting lineup in the country at 64.2 points per game. Only South Carolina (73.1 ppg), UCLA (68.8 ppg), Oklahoma (69.5 ppg) and Notre Dame (64.8 ppg) have higher scoring starting lineups.
Either Miles or Suarez has led TCU in scoring in 19 games and in 10-of-11 in Big 12 play.
TCU has benefitted from a 20-point performance by Miles, Suarez or Hunter in 16 games.
TCU is one of seven teams nationwide and one of only two at the Power Conference level alongside Oklahoma State with five players who have made at least 25 threes; Suarez (48), Hunter (46), Miles (39), Bigby (35) and Maddie Scherr (27).
Though commended for its spread pick-and-roll and offensive efficiency, TCU has morphed into one of the nation's elite defensive outfits this season. Ahead of Sunday's game, the Horned Frogs lead college basketball in field goal percentage defense (.328) and rank eighth nationally while leading all Power Conference teams in scoring defense (54.3 ppg).
TCU has held an NCAA-leading 10 opponents at-or-below 30 percent shooting from the field, including five in Big 12 play; Arizona State, BYU, Houston, UCF and No. 18 West Virginia.
Houston became the 11th team unable to score more than 50 points vs. TCU's defense on Wednesday.
The Horned Frogs have held eight teams to their lowest scoring outputs of the season, including three of their last six Big 12 foes and four of nine overall in league play.

Olivia Miles

If the season ended today, Miles would become only the second player in NCAA history to average at least 19 points, seven assists, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
Is averaging career highs in points per game (19.2), assists per game (7.0) and field goal percentage (.508); has increased her scoring average to 20.1 points per game in conference play.
Tops all Big 12 guards in scoring average in conference play; trails only Audi Crooks (23.9 ppg) and Jaliya Davis (22.5 ppg) for the overall lead in Big 12 games.
Has scored 20-plus in nine of her last 13 outings and led TCU in scoring in 10 straight games.
Has connected at-or-above a 50 percent clip from the floor in 16 games; shot 9-11 vs. Houston.
Moved to second in program history for single-season assists (167) on Wednesday; is 38 assists away from breaking Hailey Van Lith's 2024-25 school record, which she set over the course of 38 games.

Series Notes: Colorado

TCU ousted the Buffalos from the quarterfinals of the 2025 Big 12 Tournament in the teams' most recent encounter despite allowing Colorado to shoot 54 percent from the field, the highest opposing field goal percentage TCU has allowed in a game in the last two seasons. Hailey Van Lith led all players with 24 points in the win while Donovyn Hunter added 13.
TCU and Colorado have twice squared off in the Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT), including a Super 16 matchup in 2007-08.
TCU last lost to Colorad0 on March 19, 2014, in a 78-71 defeat in the opening round of the WNIT. The game was the last in Zahna Medley's career. Medley, the program's all-time leading scorer among four-year players, tallied a game-high 23 points and was one of four Frogs in double figures.
The Horned Frogs' 2014 loss to the Buffaloes was also the final game of Jeff Mittie's 15-year tenure as TCU's head coach.
TCU Athletics Hall of Famer Adrianne Ross netted 26 points at the expense of Colorado in the Horned Frogs' 96-90 overtime loss to the Buffaloes in on Mar. 30, 2008. The performance was Ross' last in a TCU uniform.
