No. 13 TCU hosts Sun Devils for first time ever on Sunday at Schollmaier Arena

FORT WORTH – No. 13 TCU punctuates a two-game with a 4 p.m. tilt on Sunday against Arizona State.

The Horned Frogs and Sun Devils each won 14 consecutive games to commence the 2025-26 campaign and are a part of a five-way tie for second place in the Big 12 standings.

Sunday's ballgame is only the second meeting between the programs and first at Schollmaier Arena.

TCU's 35-game home winning streak is the second-longest in all of Division I.
Across TCU's unbeaten run at home, 29 of the Horned Frogs' 35 victories have been by double digits.
TCU has allowed more than 75 points at home just three times under Mark Campbell. The Horned Frogs are surrendering just 53.6 points per game at home since 2023-24.
The Frogs have notched 33 home victories of at least 20 points over the last three seasons.
TCU and Arizona State are squaring off for only the second time on the hardwood. The Horned Frogs pitched an 82-66 defeat of the Sun Devils on Feb. 19, 2025 in Tempe in their first-ever meeting last season.
Campbell and Arizona State head coach Molly Miller each opened their inaugural season at the helm of their respective programs with 14 straight wins.

Frog Focus

The Horned Frogs' average margin of victory at home in Big 12 play over the last two seasons is 17.3 points. That figure increases to 23.2 points over TCU's six most recent wins inside Schollmaier Arena.
TCU limited Oklahoma State to a season-low 61 points in Wednesday's win. The Frogs have held six opponents to their lowest scoring outputs of the season.
TCU held Oklahoma State 30 points below its season scoring average and allowed just four 3-pointers in Wednesday's win.
Inside Schollmaier Arena, Campbell-led teams have kept 42-of-52 opponents at-or-below 40 percent shooting, including all 11 visitors this season.
Under Campbell, TCU has prevented 84 percent of its opponents (71-85) from meeting their season scoring average, including 14-of-16 in 2025-26.
The Horned Frogs are allowing just 3.7 threes per game at home.
TCU has prevented its opponent from connecting from distance more than five times in 21 of its last two home games dating back to 2024-25.
In the Campbell era, TCU has allowed 65 points or fewer in 81 percent of its home games (42-52) and on 60 occasions overall. The Horned Frogs are 41-1 at home over the last three seasons when preventing their opponent from eclipsing 65 points.
TCU ranks third and fifth, respectively, in the country in field goal percentage defnese (.314) and scoring defense (52.4 ppg). The Frogs are one of only two teams nationwide ranking in the top-five nationally in both metrics. The other is No. 3 South Carolina.
Sixteen games into the 2025-26 campaign, TCU is one of only three teams in college basketball alongside No. 1 UConn, No. 2 Texas and No. 12 LSU scoring at least 85 points per game while allowing less than 55.
TCU is also one of three teams shooting it better than 48 percent from the field while holding opponents below a 33 percent clip. The others are South Carolina and LSU.
TCU, alongside Villanova, is one of only two teams in the country with five players who have knocked down at least 20 threes this season; Marta Suarez (41), Donovyn Hunter (34), Olivia Miles (25), Maddie Scherr (23) and Taylor Bigby (22).
The five players are responsible for 91 percent of TCU's total 3-point offense (145-159). The quintet is averaging 9.1 threes per game and has drained at least nine 3-pointers in 10 of TCU's 16 ballgames.
The Horned Frogs continue to lead college basketball in total 3-pointers over the last three seasons with 825. TCU, alongside Richmond, is one if only two teams ranking in the top-five nationally in 3-point field goals, 3-point field goals per game (4th, 9.5) and 3-point percentage (5th, .371) since 2023-24.
TCU finished 9-18 from distance on Wednesday vs. Oklahoma State. It marked the 53rd instance in which the Horned Frogs have drilled at least nine 3-pointers since 2023-24. They are 47-6 in those games.
The Horned Frogs' primary starting five of Miles, Suarez, Hunter, Scherr and Clara Silva is the fifth highest-scoring unit in college basketball at 66 points per game. Only South Carolina (76.5 ppg), Oklahoma (72.1 ppg), Notre Dame (70.3 ppg) and UCLA (68.5 ppg) have higher scoring starting lineups.
TCU has received a 20-point performance by Miles, Suarez or Hunter in 10 games.
Miles (19.3 ppg) and Suarez (18.1 ppg) are the highest-scoring duo in the Big 12 and the only teammate tandem in the country averaging 18 points per game.
Miles and Suarez have teamed up to score at least 40 points six times.
Miles, Suarez and Hunter have combined to score 50-plus in 10 of TCU's 16 ballgames.
Miles, Suarez, Hunter and Silva make TCU one of only five teams with four members of its starting five each averaging at least 10 points and three rebounds per game while shooting at least 48 percent from the field.
TCU has outscored its opponent from behind the arc and in the paint all but once this season.
TCU ranks sixth in the country in assists per game (20.8). At home, that figure spikes to 24.5 assists per game. The Horned Frogs have dropped at least 20 dimes in all 11 of their home games.
Miles and/or Scherr have finished with at least six assists in 14 games.
At least two Frogs have netted five-or-more assists in eight of TCU's 15 victories, including each of its last six home wins. Miles had eight while Hunter netted five on Wednesday vs. Oklahoma State.
Scherr and Hunter sport respective assist-to-turnover ratios of 3.60 and 3.38. They rank fourth and 10th in the metric among all D1 players and make TCU the nation's sole D1 team with two qualified players boasting assist-to-turnover rations of 3.0-or-better. Combined with Miles, who's season assist-to-turnover ration stands at 2.29, TCU is the only team in the country with three players boasting assist-to-turnover ratios of at least 2-1.
As a team, the Horned Frogs rank 11th nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.51).
TCU finished with an assist rate of at least 75 percent for the fifth time this season and 21st game in the last three years on Wednesday, dishing out 20 assists on 26 makes from the field.
Dating back to December 15, 2024, TCU has led at halftime in 41 of its last 43 ballgames. The Horned Frogs have not faced a halftime deficit in 25 straight games vs. Big 12 foes.
TCU has not faced a multi-possession deficit in any home game and has trailed for only 6:04 combined inside Schollmaier Arena this season.

Olivia Miles

Is averaging 23 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game in Big 12 play.
On pace to become the first men's or women's player in NCAA history to average 19 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals per game.
Has scored 20-plus in four of her last five starts.
Notched her 34th game with at least 15 points, five rebounds and five assists in Saturday's loss at Utah. She ranks seventh in NCAA history for career 15-5-5 games.
Has finished with at least 15 points and five assists all but once this season.
Ranks third in the country in assists per game (7.8) and fifth in total assists (124).
Needs just 22 assists to reach 800 for her career and 76 to break Hailey Van Lith's TCU single-season record of 204; will become the sixth player in NCAA history to record at least 1,500 career points, 800 assists and 700 rebounds.
Will move into the top-50 in NCAA history for career assists should she dish out at least seven on Sunday and swell her career tally to 785.

Marta Suarez

Is the only player in college basketball averaging at least 18 points, six rebounds and two assists per game while shooting better than 50 percent from the floor and 40 percent from distance.
Her 41 threes are the most of any D1 player at least 6-3.
Has already drained the ninth-most 3-pointers in a season by a Big 12 player standing 6-3 or taller.
Ranks sixth in all of Division I in scoring average among at least 6-3.

Clara Silva

Scored in double figures for the sixth straight game on Wednesday.
Ranks in the top-five in the Big 12 in field goal percentage (2nd, .641), blocks per game (4th, 1.8) and rebounds per game (5th, 7.8).
Is averaging 14.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game over her last six outings.
Is one of eight underclassmen players in the nation averaging at least 10 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.
Has pulled down at least eight rebounds on 10 occasions.

Maddie Scherr

Has produced a 4.2 assist-to-turnover ratio (42-10) over her last 10 outings.

Donovyn Hunter

Posted an assist-to-turnover ratio of 4.0-or-better for the 20th time as a collegian vs. Oklahoma State.
Is averaging career-highs in points per game (12.6), rebounds per game (3.3), field goal percentage (.491) and 3-point field goal percentage (.391).
For her TCU career, is shooting 51 percent from the field and 41 percent behind the arc in home games compared to respective clips of 38 percent and 26 percent in road affairs.
Was permanently reinserted into TCU's starting lineup on Feb. 19 at Arizona State. Since her return to the starting five, she has more than doubled her points and assists per game averages. Over her last 27 ballgames, Hunter has averaged 10.7 points per game. Before rejoining the starting five for good, Hunter was averaging 5.2 points per game as a Frog.

Taylor Bigby

TCU is 15-1 and 5-0 this season when Bigby scores in double figures.

Series Notes: Arizona State

Kennedy Basham played her junior season at Arizona State in 2024-25. She earned 25 starts and was one of only two players to appear in every game for the Sun Devils Basham averaged 6.5 rebounds, 5.7 points and 2.6 blocks per game during her one year in maroon and gold.
Half of TCU's active roster has faced Arizona State at least once either as a Horned Frog or with a different school. Six of TCU's 12 competing players have faced the Sun Devils at least once; Basham, Taylor Bigby, Donovyn Hunter, Maddie Scherr and Marta Suarez.
Madison Conner drained her 101st three and broke her own TCU basketball record for single-season 3-pointers in the final minute of last season's 82-66 victory in Tempe. She scored 22 second-half points.
Hunter tallied all 10 of her points in the first half of last season's win over the Sun Devils. She was one of five TCU starters to score in double figures.
TCU shot 61 percent from the field over the first three quarters in last season's head-to-head vs. Arizona State and finished 57 percent (33-58) for the game.
Basham netted a game-high nine rebounds against her future team last February.
